Tele Vue Nagler Type 6 eyepieces are based on the initial Nagler design and have been improved for an optimized viewing experience. These 7-element eyepieces are made with exotic glass, have 1.25″ barrels and sport a comfortable 12mm of eye relief.  Besides their superb optics and lovely 82 degree apparent field of view, the Type 6 Nagler’s are parfocal, and all weigh about the same—about a half pound—making it easy and fast to change eyepieces when you want to raise or lower magnification.

Type 6 Nagler Eyepieces

Tele Vue Nagler Type 6 Eyepieces are designed with all of the features savvy amateur astronomers have come to expect over the years, including that “Space Walk” 82 degree apparent field of view and quality optics that reveal super sharp, high contrast images. Starting at a very short 2.5mm focal length, the Type 6 Nagler eyepieces are great for high magnification planetary and lunar views on a variety of instruments, and work great with today’s popular short focal length refractors.

All Type 6 Nagler eyepieces have a comfortable 12mm of eye relief.  They are also parfocal, which means you can switch between focal lengths with little or no changes in focus.  

These quality Tele Vue eyepieces are also Dioptrx compatible when used with the optional DNA-6000 adapter, allowing you to correct for near- or far-sightedness with the unique Dioptrx diopter system.
