Tele Vue 35mm Panoptic Eyepiece

The Tele Vue 35mm Panoptic Eyepiece has a large true field with plenty of eye relief for eyeglass wearers. When combined with a Paracorr to correct the coma of an f/4.5 Newtonian, performance is spectacular across the 68-degree field. Imagine, sharp star clusters at the extreme edge of the field along with a 6.8mm exit pupil!

Tele Vue Panoptic series offers five medium to long focal length, high-quality eyepieces with a beautiful 68-degree field of view. The Panoptic’s six-element, four-group optical design provides sharp, high-contrast images with excellent color correction. Fully multi-coated optics provide optimum light through-put for a clearer, brighter view than competing brands.

Tele Vue Panoptic eyepieces are manufactured with the best materials in the industry. Besides superb optical glass and state-of-the-art multi-coatings, each Panoptic has the following features:

Blackened lens edges to fight the effects of stray light and keep contrast high
Filter threads machined into the barrel to accept standard 1.25″ or 2″ filters
Rubber grip rings keep your Panoptic in your hands until you’re ready to let them go
An undercut in the eyepiece barrel for extra locking security
A soft rubber eyecup folds down for eyewear use
