Meade 1.25″ Erect Image 45° Diagonal
The Meade 1.25″ Erect Image 45° Diagonal is ideal for either Schmidt-Cassegrains or Maksutov-Cassegrains, installed in the Microfocuser’s 1.25″ adapter on LX200GPS and GPS-SMT telescopes, or inserted directly into the 1.25″ focuser on refracting telescopes.
For terrestrial observing with your astronomical telescope, you need this Meade 1.25″ Erect Image 45° Diagonal, which will serve to correct the image you see, by making it appear right-side up, and also have the correct left-to-right orientation. People would rather see terrestrial objects in their correct orientation. The #928 Diagonal Prism accomplishes this image correction and, at the same time, places the eyepiece at a convenient 45° angle, for more comfortable viewing. It will fit most 1.25″ focusers and will accept eyepieces with 1.25″ barrels.
