Dew Not Dew Heater Strip for 14″ Telescopes – DN014 Dew Not

Don’t let your observing session get cut short by dew on your telescope’s corrector plate! This Dew-Not Heated Dew Strip is made to wrap around the diameter of a 14″ telescope. The entire dew strap is 49″ long (the heating element ends approximately 1 inch from each end) with velcro closures to keep the Dew-Not 14″ Dew Strap secured around the scope. Meant to operate at 12V, this dew heater has a 6′ long cord that terminates in an RCA jack which plugs into a standard Dew Controller, such as the one made by Dew-Not as shown below. The controller, in turn, has a cigarette lighter plug at its terminus, allowing any number of 12V power supplies to be used as the power source.

Proudly made in the USA, the Dew-Not Dew Remover is a thick film heater manufactured for operation at 12 volts. Sixty-six percent of the surface area is heat emitting – this means more even heat distribution and no localized hot spots or burnouts often associated with resistance wire heaters.
