The core of any dew prevention system is the dew shield. This AstroZap Flexi-Heat Dew Shield is made to fit the ETX 90/C-90 Telescopes. These dew shields are proudly manufactured in the USA and feature high-quality ABS-grade polymers, padding to protect the telescope’s finish from scratching and other damage, and Velcro adhesive for a tight fit.

By using both active and passive methods of dew resistance, the Flexi-Heat Dew Shield from AstroZap sets itself apart. In addition, it provides protection from objectionable stray light. AstroZap Flexi-Heat Dew Shields require the use of a simple DC adapter or dual channel controller in order to operate. Each Flexi-Heat Dew Shield features a built-in dew heater strap. This heated dew shield will work with either AstroZap’s Dual Channel Dew Controller or their DC Adapter to perform both active and passive methods of coping with dew.
