The core of any dew prevention system is the dew shield. This AstroZap Flexi-Heat Dew Shield is made to fit 10″ SCT Telescopes. These dew shields are proudly manufactured in the USA and feature high-quality ABS-grade polymers, padding to protect the telescope’s finish from scratching and other damage, and Velcro adhesive for a tight fit.

Astrozap FlexiShields easily roll up into a convenient size that’s perfect for transporting to and from a star party or dark sky locations, no matter how far away they happen to be. For astronomers in the field, the Astrozap FlexiShield is an indispensable tool in the struggle against dew.

By using both active and passive methods of dew resistance, the Flexi-Heat Dew Shield from AstroZap sets itself apart. In addition, it provides protection from objectionable stray light. AstroZap Flexi-Heat Dew Shields require the use of a simple DC adapter or dual channel controller in order to operate. Each Flexi-Heat Dew Shield features a built-in dew heater strap. This heated dew shield will work with either AstroZap’s Dual Channel Dew Controller or their DC Adapter to perform both active and passive methods of coping with dew. The AstroZap Flexi-Heat Dew Shield will prevent dew from reaching your telescope’s objective, thereby extending the precious time you have for observing.

Please Note: This Astrozap Flexi-Heat Dew Shield does not work with the Meade LX850 ACF telescope.
