True astrograph quality

A Newtonian reflector optical design meets a Maksutov corrector lens at the front of the optical tube in this unique telescope. Thanks to the corrector (made with Schott glass), your images are free of coma, chromatic aberration, and other optical defects. The corrector also stabilizes the secondary mirror, eliminating diffraction spikes.

The large 7.5” primary mirror provides plenty of light gathering for bright, crisp views and images. Knife edge baffling inside the optical tube keeps stray light out of the light path, further enhancing contrast and image detail.

Because it’s a Newtonian, this system offers a wide field f/5.3 focal ratio. It’s the perfect telescope for capturing larger celestial objects such as nebulae and open star clusters. Let your imagination run wild—this telescope can handle just about any imaging task.

Accessories included

Since it was designed with imaging in mind, Sky-Watcher has included a 42mm T-adapter for attaching your DSLR or astronomical CCD camera. You’ll also receive an angled 8×50 optical finderscope for quick, easy, and comfortable alignment.
