Meade LX85 5″ Refractor OTA
This Meade R5 achromatic refractor is designed for the LX85 mount. The air-space doublet achromatic optics provide a viewing experience like no other. With a large 120mm objective and a focal ratio of f/5.8, you notice how the stars shine like jewels against a dark night sky. The OTA is lightweight at just under 11lbs. This makes the R5 compatible for many different mounts. The Meade R5 is designed for the LX85 mount (sold separately), but it can be easily attached to any other mount that is compatible with the R5’s Vixen-style dovetail. In fact, the Meade 120mm refractor is so compact and light it can be mounted on a simple alt-azimuth mount for times when you want a quick grab-and-go for terrestrial use or to catch a glimpse of a planet or passing comet.
The Meade 120mm refractor optical tube assembly includes a rack and pinion focuser for fast and easy focusing. To start you off right, Meade is including two 1.25″ eyepieces (a 26 mm and a 9 mm Super Plossl) as well as an 8 X 50 optical finder with the LX85 package. Your new telescope will be ready for observing right out of the box!

Returns
We don't manage the stock at our warehouse and factory. The actual inventory may fluctuate at any time. It's possible that you may not receive your order once it's been placed.
Our policy is for 30 days. We are unable to return or exchange your purchase after 30 days since the purchase.
In order for your item to be eligible for return the item must not be opened and in the condition you received it. It must also remain in the original packaging.
