Meade LX85 6″ Maksutov Cassegrain OTA
Meade’s 6″ Maksutov-Cassegrain optical tube assembly was designed for the LX85 mount. However, the OTA is lightweight enough to be connected to many different mounts. The LX85 Mak-Cass has a folded optical design designed to show you pinpoint star images and high contrast. This makes the Meade LX85 MC6 a fantastic deep sky telescope, great for detailed lunar and planetary observation as it easily soars to high magnifications. This Maksutov, aka “Mak” telescope has an aperture of 6″ and a focal length of 1800 mm, making it a great portable instrument for either visual observing or astrophotography.
The M6 Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope can be easily attached to a wide range of mounts, including the Meade LX85 equatorial mount, via a Vixen-style dovetail. This telescope system is lightweight, at only 12.7lbs, making it easy on the back and allowing for easy and fast set up in your backyard or at a dark-sky site.
To start you off right, Meade is including two 1.25″ eyepieces (a 26 mm and a 9 mm Super Plossl) as well as an 8 X 50 optical finder with the LX85 package. Your new telescope will be ready for observing right out of the box!

We don't manage the stock at our warehouse and factory. The actual inventory may fluctuate at any time. It's possible that you may not receive your order once it's been placed.
Our policy is for 30 days. We are unable to return or exchange your purchase after 30 days since the purchase.
In order for your item to be eligible for return the item must not be opened and in the condition you received it. It must also remain in the original packaging.
