iOptron’s new AZ Mount Pro Head uses “level and go” technology. Its smooth set up routing uses an integrated precision level indicator to easily level the mount and turn the power on. This proficient computerized mount will handle everything from there. The iOptron AZ Mount Pro calculates its position as well as telescope orientation by engaging the on board 32 channel GPS receiver and incorporated position and angular detection sensors. The mount will then automatically slew the device to an easily detectable bright night sky object. The only thing the operator needs to do is confirm that the object is centered in order to trigger tracking and GoTo capabilities.

Please Note: If you will be mounting the AZ Mount Pro on the iOptron Tri-Pier, you will need part 8340-PIER, which includes a modified attachment bolt, to mate the mount to the pier.
