Upgrading your diagonal and switching to 2″ eyepieces is one of the best investments you can make in your telescope. The wider diagonal captures more of the telescope’s light cone, perfect for viewing faint, deep sky objects like nebulae and galaxies.

This 2″ telescope diagonal stands out from the competition thanks to its XLT optical coatings. Celestron applies the same high-reflectivity coatings to this diagonal that you’ll find on their top-of-the-line telescopes. The result is light transmission levels of 96 percent. This instrument is precision machined and tested on an interferometer to ensure a 1/10th wave flat mirror.

Although it’s an ideal match for Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes (SCTs), this diagonal threads securely onto any SCT.

This diagonal comes with a 1.25″ adapter so you can seamlessly switch between 2″ and 1.25″ eyepieces during your observing session. It also includes a hard-sided alumnium carrying case to protect it when not in use.
